autumn eliza We all know I am a huge Snowpiler fan. This is not a surprise. I love every single person in the band. Great hearts, extraordinary talents, and wonderful spirits, their music is who they are. This album release of “Compiler” is no different. For forever fans or new listeners, this piece deserves a few minutes out of your day. Snowpiler's sound is untouchable, and altogether them.

1.
Living for you as you lived for me. I hold you on my back. I carry you into the future, As you brought me from the past. It hardly seems worth it. I have lost your melting body, But mine’s burning too. I light candles on the way.
2.
[You are] Half a broken blossom bell, The bone to wood to wind. The weight of dust upon a petal folding in. The violent lintel of your fin. The shape of bread and blade within.

Untitled 02:42
Felt awash in the ebb and flow. Pulled me far from the direction I know. For awhile, thought I'd caught a glimpse of the glow. Now I just see the screen and the light it throws. A lack of effort keeps me locked in the phrase, A body tethered to its usual ways. Until then, My polished vessel crackles under the glaze. Give a little gas but it's just shifting in place. Long scratch for absurdist rash, Embrace whatever left you feeling abashed. Before long, our tender bodies dissipate into ash. The confidence you've anchored is the reason to crash.
4.
Sap 03:12
You came to me in dream form, Seed to root to tree form; Free form. Here’s an olive branch that’ll never leave my lap, stuck sap. One concentric ring, One more chance to close me off, One extension strives to sap. I stuck out my hands and I gripped all the dirt and remembered my home, immersed in that downpour. Waiting for illumination to tear me apart.
5.
Crest 02:51
I recognize that twitch, my coat fills in. It drags me like the crest of noon, like a jealous moon. Channels flush and flow, we touch and go. With time we’ll know, we’re mostly made of water. We, we. We drops make an ocean. Shun, shun. Shun or shrug we’ll still boil in the sun. Son, son, son you don’t have the answer. Sir, sir, this conversation never started.

Tepid 04:51
Living for you as you lived for me. I hold you on my back. I carry you into the future, As you brought me from the past. It hardly seems worth it. I have lost your melting body, But mine’s burning too. I light candles on the way. Is the water warm enough for you to stay in? Are you colder? Thick blood gone thin. Are you ever older or one with your kin?
7.
Can you still feed me through the foggy pane? Something in your gaze made me glad I'm awake. You are the sink, the tap, and the drink; the warmest ink. Your stare's got me thinking: Won't you stay awhile? Won't you die for our good time? I'll stare till all I've got is a white spot.
8.
Bread and Blade [You are] Half a broken blossom bell, The bone to wood to wind. The weight of dust upon a petal folding in. The violent lintel of your fin. The shape of bread and blade within. ________________________________________________ "I'm a Whole Damn Town" Deep hole with a velvet sheen; detained in mute serene. I fear we've been asleep for awhile now. You'd think our silent friends would've left some clues. Never thought I'd roam along without you.
9.

10.
Do you recall the day you heard yourself wake up? The day was not today. I walked with my friends. I held you once inside myself and spat you on the beach. Where I stood miles tall, you were merely feet. If I had taught you how to walk, your shoulders would've scraped the clouds and Venus would replace your crown. We once were miles tall but turned to miles long. We laid down. Russian doll; I slid my torso apart. You can never come back.
